Though Selatra has been silent for a long time, the aggregator seems to have been working out a sweet deal with Vodafone Iceland that puts them in charge of games and apps.
Vodafone has licensed both Selatra’s delivery platform as well as their content catalogue for their news mobile games store. Selatra will be offering both Java, Symbian and Android content on the operator.
“Our customers have really enjoyed a world class offering of games across all platforms. In our market, customer satisfaction and high quality service makes all the difference and gives us a competitive edge.” says Pétur Rúnar Guðnason, Manager of Digital Communications at Vodafone Iceland.
“This start-to-finish service is perfectly suited to Operators who need games to be quick and easy”, says Fergal O’ Callaghan, CEO of Selatra. “It allows the product manager to concentrate on marketing all services and still maintain editorial control of the decks with minimum effort and resources”.
