PSP Phone Rumors Surface Again

August 12th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Smartphones & Tablets | No Comments »

Again, rumors say SonyEricsson is working on a PSP based mobile phone. Sony has always denied SE access to the Playstation brand, but did allow PSN integration on Windows Mobile devices from the vendor.

Now it seems both companies are working on the PSP-Phone hybrid. Instead of a qwerty keypad, there would be a D-Pad and analogue stick consumers can pull out. Furthermore it would involve Android 3.0 which suggests involvement from Google in the project.

We ask ourselves why it doesn’t run the same OS as the PSP to keep development easy…
