iPad Rollout Might Face Delays due to Component Shortages

According to LG, the global iPad roll-out from Apple might be facing delays due to a shortage of components. LG can’t produce as much 9.7” capacitive screens as Apple can buy from them.

It is no secret that Apple has multiple companies that are producing screens for the iPad, but LG is one of the biggest. LG expects shortages of screens until early 2011 though the company is looking at methods to increase production.
