Mobile wap gaming specialist Gofresh announced it’s wap decks have attracted 2 million mobile gamers from all over the world. This proves simple browser based mobile games are still far from dead.
Gofresh attracted these gamers with a catalogue of 20 titles. Up to 15% of those gamers have made an in-game purchase. The company also disclosed that the average gamer plays 2.6 times a day for about 35 minutes in total.
Antonio Vince Staybl, CEO Gofresh: “2010 will be the year of mobile social gaming. With growing feature- and smartphone usage and cheaper data flatrates, the number of people who play social games on their mobile phones will continue to grow very fast and better carrier payment solutions will make it easier to monetize mobile games.”
Congratulations
