Samsung has signed a deal with LBS service provider SkyHook. SkyHook will provide developers on the Bada OS with specific data on where the user is located based on various inputs.
Amongst others, SkyHook uses triangulation, GPS and WiFi networks to find out where the consumers is. This mix of technologies delivers a faster fix than only searching for GPS data and will allow LBS games as well as step by step navigation.
