Consumers worldwide will be able to take their purchased minis games to the big screen with the soon to be released ‘and optional’ 3.15 patch for their Playstation 3 consoles.
To achieve this, Sony has included an emulator in the patch that will scale-up graphics. Because it’s an emulator, Sony will not guarantee that pre 17-12 games will work on the PS3, but all new releases will. Sony will also discuss with developers to patch their minis for PS3 usage if needed.
If i bought Minis from PSP store, do i have to re-buy it to my PS3?
No, the license is attached to your identity. So you should be able to play them for free. I haven’t tested it yet though.
