The past week, Business Insider reported that Oberon Media (owner of i-Play) is restructuring. Amongst the changes, COO Don Ryan will be leaving the company in pursuit of his own dreams.
Most of the restructuring will be at the New York offices and in total 100 employees have been forced to look for a new job over Christmas according to multiple sources. The impact is mostly on the Oberon Media part of the business and does not seem to affect I-play so far (which means mobile is doing well for the company).
