Though Apple is fighting to keep both Flash and Silverlight out of iPhone OS, the company seems to be working on a new framework for rich internet apps and games called Gianduia.
Gianduia has been introduced during WOWODC last summer. It would be entirely standards based, meaning it will be based on current web technologies like HTML, Javascript and CSS. It should be a browser-side version of Cocoa and WebObjects.
Congratulations
