While most bigger iPhone OS publishers are setting up their own social gaming networks to keep their clients indoors (i.e. Namco), Capcom has announced their new line-up including OpenFeint support.
The first OpenFeint supporting titles launching will be Dark Void Zero and Hatchlings (which is a new puzzle title). In return for the attention of Capcom, OpenFeint will be promoting the games amongst OpenFeint users.
“Capcom Interactive has been evaluating the online mobile gaming space for quite some time now and we think that OpenFeint has a great social games platform,” said Manabu Seko, Head of Americas and EMEA Studio, Capcom Interactive, Inc. “We look forward to taking advantage of OpenFeint’s social, gaming and marketing features to reach their 21 million players.”
“We’re excited to help bring Capcom’s first OpenFeint-enabled games to our online gaming platform,” said Jason Citron, CEO and founder of Aurora Feint. “Dark Void Zero and Hatchlings are great online games and we look forward to working with great publishers and developers like Capcom in the future to integrate key components of our OpenFeint X platform social gaming services like virtual goods.”
Congratulations
