Microsoft to build Windows Mobile 6.5.3

January 5th, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: Windows Mobile | No Comments »

Microsoft Again, Microsoft will be extending the life of Windows Mobile 6.5 with the release of version 6.5.3. The biggest change with the new version is the interface which will already come one step closer to Windows Phone 7.

This means Microsoft will be moving the start and close buttons to the bar below the screen and increase the height of it. Actually, it will look a lot like the button bar of the iPhone. This will probably also mean that Microsoft will be dropping support for hardware softkeys on Windows Phone devices.
