It is probably one of Steve Jobs’ biggest nightmares (after regular jailbreaks). A group of hackers has managed to crease an Android release that is working perfectly on the iPhone.
The Android build seems to be working stabile on old iPhones (which is a great alternative when the whole world switches to iPhone OS 4.0 so you can’t download new apps anymore) and is expected to be available soon for the iPhone 3G. The hardware of the 3GS is very different and will probably take much more time.
Congratulations
