Apple Releases iPhone OS 4.0 Beta 2

April 21st, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | No Comments »

Apple has released the second beta version of the iPhone OS 4.0 to the development community. With the new OS (which has been beefed up to 355MB), Apple seems to have made a lot of bugfixes.

In the new Beta, Apple increased the time for processes to finish their tasks from 5 minutes to 10. The visuals of the Game Center have also received some upgrades. The animation when switching between apps has also changed. A new bug has been introduced as screenshots and photo’s are not always stored the right way.

The method of selecting wallpapers has changed and music controls (double push on the home button) have returned. E-mail accounts all have their own button now.
