Following closely after the December stats from Getjar, we received those of Admob. Their December package is comfortable packaged in a PDF so we will just sum up some highlights.
According to the report, the Apple is the most popular vendor amongst ‘ad watchers’ with a marketshare of 36%. Nokia is a good second at 18% and Samsung follows with 11%.
When looking at the OS, iPhoneOS is leading at 51%. This might sound strange at first because Apple is the only one supporting iPhone OS. We believe the iPod Touch was added to the list. Symbian follows at 21% and Android takes third place at 16%.
For Admob, the US is still the primary market, but India is a strong second followed by Indonesia at third place. In Getjar’s report, those markets als took top spots. Get the full report here.
