Aside from Nokia and Apple combating each other over iPhone patents, Apple has a new legal enemy. This time it’s Fujitsu that claims to have a trademark on the name iPad.
Fujitsu even marketed a product with the name back in 2002 according to the New York Times. Another interesting fact is that Apple doesn’t even allow a single domain name with the work iPad while it does own domains for all other i products.
It is not the first time Apple got itself into trademark problems. When the firm introduced the iPhone, it was Cisco who started to chase Apple. That lawsuit was settled in the end and the same is expected between these two tech giants.
