DragonFire SDK Enables iPhone Development on Windows

February 1st, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | 2 Comments »

Dragonfire-sdk One of the biggest frustration for Windows developers is the obligation to buy a mac in order to develop for Apple’s iPhone OS. Though Adobe announced a solution already, it seems DragonFire SDK has beaten the giant to it.

With DragonFire SDK, developers can develop iPhone apps in C and C++ via Windows Visual C++. This means Windows developers will not have to cope with the limitations of Adobe’s Flash CS5. Also, studying Objective-C is no obligation anymore.

Next to offering a Windows development platform, DragonFire also allows developers to publish their apps over the DragonFire developer account. Ideal for free apps as it saves developers from the annual $99 fee. BETA testers can sign up now on the DragonFire SDK website.
