After successful deployment in the US, Glu will now bring its World Series of Poker license to Europe where the poker decks are currently dominated by poker games from HandsOn’s World Poker Tour license and various Pokerroom.com titles. Reason for the move to Europe is the increase in popularity of the card game. Glu will kick off with the Texas Hold’em and Player Advisor versions.
“Both of these mobile products are authentic experiences that will help players of all levels improve their game and experience the thrills and excitement of the World Series of Poker,” said Jeffrey Pollack, commissioner of the World Series of Poker.
Patrick Mork, marketing director of EMEA, Glu Mobile., added: "The rise in popularity of poker has been immense, with new players joining the fun of this easy to learn, yet involving, game on a daily basis,” said “World Series of Poker is the royal flush of poker brands and holds the best hand on this table – these mobile games give fans the perfect way to enjoy the game wherever they are, and also develop their skills in the process.”
Congratulations
