Cellufun’s numbers

December 3rd, 2006 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Ad Funded Gaming | 1 Comment »

The guys at Cellufun (the other ad-subsidized free mobile games service) have released some numbers exclusively to us last weekend. On the background, we can say that Cellufun at this moment only sells it’s own titles which is impressive to me.

The games

The most played mobile game is Sudoku where since October 2005, 8 million puzzles where made available to 300.000 players. Their chess game is played online 2.000 times a day, and estimated is many more people play offline as it’s download number is 70.000 higher then Sudoku. The most interesting type of download?
