To expand the consumer experience of their TV show licensed mobile games, Player X has partnered with Sennari. The two together will enable Player X’s mobile games with Sennari’s PrizePlay system. By enabling the mobile games for PrizePlay, consumers will be able to bet with tokens on their in-game achievements. The tokens they win with that can be redeemed by purchasing goods or even exchange them for cash. Every game will have a starter set of these tokens. When a consumer runs out of tokens, he or she can purchase new ones. The first game to receive a PrizePlay treatment will be Family Fortunes which is ranking well within the UK ELSPA charts.
“The TV Gameshows titles are confirmed evergreen titles and two top positions in the 2006 ELPSA charts underline this. PrizePlayTM is a perfect way of evolving the franchise and the game format is perfect for a play-to-win model,” said Tony Pearce, Player X CEO.
“We are delighted to be working with partner like Player X that has both the global distribution to drive users into the PrizePlay ecosystem and the licenses to build compelling applications around. Player X saw the ARPU advantages of connected applications that allow pay per play and rewards, the end to end process of working with them has been very straight forward,” said Bill Barhydt CEO, Sennari.
