Player X has singed an agreement with Terraplay Systems for their
connected mobile gaming services. The two companies agreed to kick off
with ten games to be connected to Terraplay’s global gaming network.

The initial launch games for the cooperation will be Carol Vorderman’s Mind Aerobics, which is widely promoted trough Player X’s media deal with Sky who broadcasts the TV version. Second up are the casual puzzle games in the “Mind Games” series. The series will launch on 25 operators in Europe.

Both games feature an integrated competition mode that will run on weekly basis. Results from each gaming session are automatically submitted to the Terraplay competition server, and results are published in realtime on dedicated sites on web and WAP, and also inside the game. Gamers can take part in the global competition, or in national competitions staged by local operators or operator groups.

“We see great potential in connecting our gamers to create interactivity and community around the gaming experience, and the Terraplay Global Gaming Network was the perfect solution to support our large scale rollout”, says Tony Pearce, CEO at Player X.

“This is a very exciting project with great high quality games, strong marketing and simultaneous launch across the 25 major networks in Europe”, says Sven H
