EA’s mobile games division has been performing well in the group and
has now brought in 5.9 percent of the total group’s first quarter
revenues.
The mobile games division turned over $ 36 million in revenues which is a 140% increase on the first quarter of 2006. EA expects an increase of the mobile games industry between 20% and 25% along 2007. They expect to pass $ 175 million in sales with the aid of 30-35 mobile game releases this year and additionally 4 iPod titles. They also state to look at in-game advertising for mobile games.
