Spin3 has started reinventing their Ki-Bi system in order to sell in-game credits for their mobile casino games through prepaid cards.
The system, called OnCash is a prepaid system for consumers to buy not alone games via Ki-Bi based prepaid cards, but also credits to spend in Spin3’s range of casino based mobile games reports Mobile Entertainment Magazine.
This new method is ideal in a position where consumers love to gamble, but are not able to pay using traditional methods like credit cards. Not entirely surprisingly, Spin3 has already deployed the system in an unnamed South-Asian country and hopes to have signed 15 deals for the system by the end of 2007.
Matti Zinder, CEO of Spin3, said: “The barriers to mobile gambling are many even though the demand is great. One of the biggest barriers is payment. I believe OnCash overcomes this by allowing customers to use cash. It takes only two minutes for the player to be registered, get games and put cash into their account.”
