One of the world’s most played word games has now entered the mobile arena as EA Mobile announced the release of Scrabble in the U.S. and Canada.
The release of Scrabble is under license from Hasbro which granted EA Mobile the use of the brand for the U.S. and Canada. With EA Mobile’s version of Scrabble, consumers can play solo or compete against a computer player or a friend.
Consumer can also track their statistics in the mobile game. Scrabble tracks the best game, best word and best turn. When in doubt about a word, consumers can get advice from the official Scrabble dictionary which is built in.
