At CTIA today, Glu announced a follow-up to the successful casual game Diner Dash. The game Diner Dash 2 will be available from January onward.
"Diner Dash 2 brings an array of new features and graphics that offer people a fresh challenge while maintaining the classic game play that contributed to the enormous success of the original Diner Dash," said Jill Braff, senior vice president of global publishing, Glu. "With new restaurants, new customer types, power ups and more, Diner Dash 2 will provide that second helping that fans of the original have been craving for."
"Glu’s launch of Diner Dash was met with great success, so we’re eagerly anticipating the sequel," said Rich Roberts, vice president of sales and business development, PlayFirst. "With Glu’s proven track record of translating PlayFirst franchises such as Diner Dash and Poker Pop(TM) to the mobile platform, we’re confident that this is yet another brilliant interpretation of our top-selling hit that players will love just as much as the original, downloadable version of Diner Dash 2."
