Backed by Activision, Codemasters and Encore Software, Vollee released their Vollee 1.0 platform which allows streaming high end mobile games to 3G enabled mobile phones.
Vollee utilizes their video streaming platform to compress and adapt the PC game output for viewing on mobile. The software sends the player actions back to the service which translates the keypad presses the game actions. The service is much like the old mainframe systems where the game is executed on a remote server and displayed on individual terminals.
