Playboy seems to be altering it’s mobile content strategy bigtime. Until now, a lot of publishers where able to license playboy for certain territories. Now, the big bunny seems to go solo.
Playboy has closed a deal with Minick to set up the distribution of playboy content like mobile games as well as mobile TV to operators world wide. With Playboy taking this step, it is expected that deals with small developers will run out in the coming time, or that Playboy will license currently created mobile content and games from third parties for it’s own network.
