We recently reported on Antix’s platform that allows development of
games over multiple (mobile) platforms. We have received additional
information to the original post.
The Antix solution will not only support the native languages like Symbian and Windows Mobile, but also BREW as it is also related to C and C++.
“we’re moving into a converging market where mobile gaming is no longer an island but part of a bigger continent of gaming. Across that constituency, C and C++ are the dominant languages (see Nintendo, SCE and Microsoft as examples in both home and handheld) and it is the ability to be increasingly pervasive with titles that is also important, as is the ability to develop consistent strategies from entry to high end handsets and across other devices as well.” says Francis Charig from Antix
