THQ (and so their wireless division) is taking countermeasures to
prevent heading into financial problems later. As so, it is cutting
down the catalogue and organisation.
As so, THQ announced to no longer be releasing (mobile) games in the Juiced and Stuntman series due to lacking sales. Also, THQ is closing their Concrete Games Studio. The studio was as far as we know not involved in the creation of mobile games, which is handled by Universomo mostly, one of the recent acquisitions of THQ.
Furthermore, some games have been cancelled on some platforms. Destroy All Humans: Big Willy Unleashed will not be released on the PS2 and Frontlines: Fuel of War will not reach the PS3.
THQ lowered their revenue expectations for this quarter from $ 240 million to $ 200 million.
