Khaeon and Elements Interactive have managed to win the Japan GameJam with their Water Power game.
The competition was hard as the team had to beat entries from Ronimo Games, O! And 3D-Flash. By using the tilt sensor in a mobile phone to control water levels in this puzzler, the jury was convinced that Water Power was the absolute winner.
Over the next few months, Water Power will be developed into a full featured product that will be presented on the Tokyo Game Show in Japan in September 2008. “We’re going to Japan!” was the delighted response of Khaeon’s Erik ‘t Sas, team captain of the winning team. “What a great idea we are going to present our game at the Tokyo Game Show this year,” said team member Danny Hoffman of Elements Interactive, who worked on the playable demo.
Congratulations Elements Interactive and Khaeon.
(updated the typo)
The name would be Khaeon, not Kheon 🙂
