Adobe’s Open Screen Project

AdobeGood news for the Flash Lite development community. Adobe is pushing it’s Open Screen Project forward, which means it will be even more easy to display your mobile games on multiple platforms.

In the mobile corner, Adobe is getting support from LG, Nokia, Samsung and SonyEricsson. With the support from these partners and others, Adobe is pushing the support for the Open Screen Project right onto the smallest and most important screen in our lives today.

In order to push the adoption of Flash on (mobile) devices even more, Adobe has taken the following steps; No more restrictions on the swf and flv specifications, no more licensing fees for embedding Flash players, free api’s to port Flash players to any embedded platforms and free use of data services protocols.

      so this will be made from the flash lite platform?

      The goal of Adobe is to slowly migrate Flahs Lite into the desktop version of Flash. So I expect this will be a version that hangs between.
