At the GDC, Microsoft took the time to announce their XNA Game Studio 4.0. This SDK is needed for all developers that like to release mobile games on Windows Phone 7 Series devices as well as the Zune and XBLA.
The new XNA Game Studio is not only aimed at mid-sized and large development houses, but also the one-man developers. The SDK fully integrates with Visual Studio 2010. With the new Game Studio release, Microsoft also advices Zune developers to start migrating their projects to the Windows Phone 7 Series platform. This could hint at the end of Zune hardware (which we still haven’t seen in Europe).
More information about Microsoft’s XNA Game Studio 4.0 is expected along the week.
Congratulations
