We already reported about a possible split within the Hands-On company
before we went on our vacation break. Now we’re back, it’s all official
and see that Eric Hobson returns.
Last week, Hands-On announced to have taken a big investment in Connect 2 Media. Connect 2 Media is a company formed by former Hands-On mobile game guru Eric Hobson. With the investment, Connect 2 Media received nearly all EMEA mobile gaming activities from Hands-On. This way, Hands-On itself can free up all it’s resources to focus at their primary market, North America.
Hands-On and Connect 2 Media will maintain a reciprocal global publishing partnership ensuring both companies strengthen their global distribution capabilities. Connect 2 Media intends to build upon the success of Hands-On’s web-to-wireless gaming efforts and extensive expertise in publishing, developing and distributing mobile games to consolidate its vision of offering games across multiple platforms incorporating mobile, web and interactive TV.
