During this year’s GCDC, the developer conference that is part of the
total event, there will be a strong focus on mobile game development
via several panels and lectures.
In total, there will be 23 panelists and speakers at the event. These people hold mostly senior positions at companies like IdeaWorks3D, Digital Legends, Fishlabs, HandyGames, Nokia, SonyEricsson, m:metrics and Allistair.
“We are very excited to be sponsoring the mobile track at the GC Developers Conference this year” said Kay Gruenwoldt, North American Marketing Manager, First Party Games, Nokia. “GCDC has always offered great opportunities for us and is a key date in the games calendar. For Nokia, it is an ideal time to discuss the latest issues affecting the mobile games industry such as distribution, quality and innovation.”
Maarten Noyons, Founder of the International Mobile Gaming Awards (www.imgawards.com) and moderator of 4 of the panels added: “It is going to be a very rich and informative conference covering all the stages of the process, from development to publishing and marketing strategies. If you are in mobile games, you can’t afford to miss it.”
