Tap Tap Revenge, a Guitar Hero like mobile game for the iPhone is set to expand its functionalities with a new release on App Store later this week.
One of the most requested features is that major record companies will start inserting well known tracks into the game. Until now, the game purely used unknown artists to fill it’s music catalog.
Another feature will be the inclusion of advertising into the game. This way, a new revenue stream opens up to the developer.
Until now, Tap Tap Revenge (TTR) has generated a quarter million plays a day. This comes from a database of 1.2 million users. Without a doubt, Tap Tap Revenge shows the strength of the Apple App Store, but what is a real Guitar Hero game will land on the iPhone (not really unimaginable).
