One of I-Play’s biggest casual mobile games has just received the App
Store treatment. As of now, the mobile game is available on iPhone and
iPod Touch.
“Jewel Quest is already one of the most popular casual games ever made,” said Don Ryan, Chief Operating Officer, Oberon Media, I-play’s parent company. “The introduction of Jewel Quest II to millions of iPhone and iPod touch users further solidifies our expertise in developing high-quality content for consumers. It is a great opportunity for us and for gaming fans.”
“Our Jewel Quest franchise is an award-winning, worldwide phenomenon that has achieved more than 60 million downloads," said CJ Wolf, CEO and co-Founder of iWin. "We are excited to partner with I-play to bring such a stellar game to an avid new audience of iPod touch and iPhone gamers.”
The Jewel Quest franchise continues with Jewel Quest II, a puzzle adventure game updated to utilize iPhone’s advanced graphics and innovative Multi-Touch user interface. The game follows Rupert as he picks up a new treasure trail in search of the most cryptic Jewel Board ever. Users guide him through the mystery as he explores Africa in search of jewels and his lost love. With over 50 engrossing puzzles, a deeper, more intriguing storyline and all new iPhone-specific gameplay mechanics, Jewel Quest II will have gamers hooked for hours.
