We already posted about the rumours
that Tira Wireless was in big problems. Now, after a lot of digging
around and help from some friends, we got hold of internal
documentation that confirms it.
As of August 24th, the board of directors decided to pull the plug on the company. After that move, a group of Tira Wireless employees have formed a new company called Five Mobile. The new company will focus on application development for smartphone platforms like the iPhone and Blackberry. What happens to Tire IP is unknown at the moment.
