We haven’t even arrived at the Microsoft HQ and already we see the first rumors drop into our mailbox. According to our source, the OS will have support for two screensizes and Multitouch.
It will support 320×480 screens like we can find in most Android and iPhone handsets and 800×480. 800×480 support will be available at launch while we have to wait for 320×480 support according to Shawn Hargreaves, a Microsoft XNA developer.
The screens will also allow a multitouch experience, supporting four fingers at the same time and the phone will be capable of full hardware accelerated 3D graphics but programmable shaders will not be allowed yet. Charlie Kindel details that on his blog.
Via.
Congratulations
