With the latest instalment of EA's Tiger Woods PGA Tour series, the publisher has set the first steps to connect both the mobile game as well as the console version of the 2009 edition.
EA is not the first publisher to play with this idea. In Korea, various games are already connected between mobile and PC platforms. Another experiment in the nineties came from SEGA which had a memorycard that functioned like a mini gameboy in which gamers could continue to play with their characters.
EA calls their approach “Console Boost” and works with Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of the game.
Congratulations
