Thursday, Greystripe announced their second big media partnership in less than two months with Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd., India’s largest online gaming company.
Zapak’s integration with Greystripe signals India’s movement towards alternative forms of distribution for mobile content. With everyone from Apple to Google to Microsoft launching their own versions of game and application storefronts for cell phones in the U.S., Greystripe is the only company that is providing a solution similar to an app store in India.
“Our partnership with Zapak is a significant part of our global strategy to dominate mobile game distribution,” said Michael Chang, CEO and co-founder of Greystripe. “This strategic partnership aims to create the de facto destination site for mobile gaming in South Asia by serving the highest-quality games with the most engaging advertising experience.”
