FinBlade announced the release of three titles for Google's Android platform. WordSearch, Movie Quiz and Tennis Slam initially launched on the App Store this summer and are now available for Android via Handango’s store.
“While there has been a stampede to support the iPhone, our approach has been to target all capable smart phones,” remarked John Chasey, President of FinBlade, “Our Android launch is the next step of that strategy, which ensures our development spend is maximised across all viable channels.”
“By using the Bedrock technology from Metismo we have been able to focus our resources on the content of the games and let the middleware take care of the OS issues,” said Fergus McNeill, CEO, FinBlade. “Releasing so soon after the launch of the device, combined with great user and critical reviews for our titles have demonstrated the success of this policy.”
“Having completed titles live in the market is the best advert to potential clients of our capability to deliver on these high-end devices, while still supporting the standard set of J2ME and BREW devices when required” said John Chasey, “you’ll see more of our output swing towards commissioned titles from publishers in the forthcoming months.”
Congratulations
