It seems Palm has been saved for now by Elevation Partners. The investors have put $ 100 million into the hardware company (not to be mistaken from the company that produces Palm OS).
With the financial injection, the company will be able to proceed with the production of their handsets as well as the development of a brand new OS called Nova (we reported on this a few weeks back). The Nova OS is expected to be presented at the CES in Las Vegas.
