Appy Place Launches

January 13th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Companies & M&A | 1 Comment »

Appy-entertainment
Another mobile games developer launched today. This one is called Appy Place and has laid it's focus on addicting 5 minute games for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch.

The company hasn't announced any real titles yet, but according to PocketGamer, the co-founders are also the co-founders of console developer High Moon Studios. High Moon Studios has created a few big titles, which means that the crew is well experienced in that market. The question is now, will they also conquer the (possibly overcrowded) App Store with their ideas?

    1. Thanks for the mention. As to whether or not we can conquer the App Store, only time will tell … right now, I’d be happy just to get something shipped. We’ve got high standards and I hope we don’t let anyone down. Wish us luck!
