RIM’s Application Center only for Bold and Storm

February 10th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: BlackBerry | No Comments »

Rim
Rim seems to be limiting it's BlackkBerry App Store (called Application Center) to it's high end models. Right now that means that it will become available for only the Bold and the Storm models.

This news comes right from the technical information which RIM is providing to those who signed up for the service.

A funny detail is that officially, the company is even limiting the service to BlackBerry OS 4.7. The Bold is the only exception whereas it runs on BlackBerry OS 4.6.
