Last week, developers have showed their concerns in regards to application and game updates for the Windows Mobile Marketplace. When registering for the service, developers where allowed 5 uploads for $ 99,- and that included minor and major updates!
Now, Microsoft has changed that part of the agreement. As so, developers will not be charged for any updates to mobile games and applications. This policy change is good for both Microsoft and the development community, as the small developers will have no problems to update their software. If they would be charged, there would be a high risk that buggy games would never be patched.
Well, this is really a great news for developers. This will definitely encourage small developers to update mobile games.
