Google, Intel and Sony Developing Android TV

March 23rd, 2010 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: AndroidOS | No Comments »

Android Google, Sony and Intel have announced to be working on set-top TV boxes that run Android. The service will probably be called Google TV though we could also understand Android TV or just YouTube.

According to rumors, the companies have also approached Logitech to create accessories for their new devices. Google plans to make a special version of the Android SDK available for developers who wish to bring their games to TV.
