Starz Media and Artificial Life and movie company Overture Films have announced the licensing of the upcoming horror movie Pandorum. Artificial Life and Starz Media will release a game based on the brand.
“Starz Digital Media is delighted to enter the mobile gaming space by leveraging this strong property from our feature film division,” said Marc DeBevoise, senior vice president, digital media, business development and strategy for Starz Media, who also handles digital and on-demand distribution of Overture’s releases. The mobile gaming category has recently exploded with cutting edge devices and technologies. We are in a strong position to extend our properties onto these platforms and use the games symbiotically
To movie licences for games has proven to be a big gamble. To be sincere I do not think that Pandorum will be a big success. Looks like Artificial Life is wasting money on this licence. Quite a noob company.
