Dutch VVD party politician Jules Maarten is organizing a game development conference for the European Parliament in the hope to stimulate investments in the industry.
The event, that will take place on the 15th of April, will show interested politicians what it takes to create a game and the benefits for both the consumers and the economy. During the conference, keynotes will be delivered by Alexander Fernandez from Streamline Studios and Dr. Pamela Kato. Kato will show off a game that helps children with cancer to live with their disease whereas Fernandez will explain what it takes to build a successful game.
