Engadget managed to get their hands on an internal AT&T document which details the key differences between the iPhone and the Palm Pre (which is sold exclusively by their competitor Sprint).
In regards to the software, the document emphasizes on the fact that there is no App Store at the moment (though this is expected). Also, the WebOS would not allow intense 3D mobile games on the device. On the hardware side, one of the big problems is that it’s CDMA only. This means that roaming will be a big problem for the business community.
The document outlines more issues for the device, but none that seem really important for our industry. Also we get the feeling that it’s not really based on practical experience with the device. As mentioned above, their competitor will actually start selling it.
Elastic Beanstalk
