Handmark has announced its new mobile store platform for Windows Mobile. The platform is aimed directly at operators and handset vendors and more platforms are will to be supported soon.
With their on-device store, the company hopes to support most of the smartphone platforms and content is not limited to games and apps, but can also include ringtones, themes and many other forms of digital entertainment. The application interface can receive a custom layout to fit the brand of the company that will deploy it toward it’s client base.
“Developers around the world have created an amazing array of titles that complement the unique Windows Mobile experience,” said Chris Barnett, EVP of Global Sales for Handmark. “Our new Mobile Store Platform solution makes it easier than ever for consumers to access and download these titles with ease on Windows Mobile devices and other platforms in the near future.”
