MEDL Uses Crowd Sourcing for Fresh Ideas

April 23rd, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Marketing Strategies | No Comments »

Medl-mobile MEDL has introduced a new way to aggregate smart ideas for new mobile games and applications. Instead of hiring some whizzkids, the company is utilizing crowd sourcing through their newest app.

With the new app (called Incubator) installed, consumers can submit ideas for new games and apps. The Incubator guides the consumers through the submission process in order to get as much information on the concept as possible.

To stimulate consumers into submitting ideas, they will grand 25% of the revenues toward that consumer in case the company actually executes the ideas.
