Xbox Chief Heads to Apple

May 6th, 2009 by Arjan Olsder Posted in Platforms: iOS | 2 Comments »

Apple Apple’s iPhone is already more often compared to handheld consoled then other mobile phones. It seems Apple is set to expand their iPhone as a gaming device as they hired Richard Teversham, a former senior director for the Xbox console.

Richard has served with Microsoft for 15 years. And within the Senior Directors team for Xbox, he was responsible for business, insights and strategy.

Within Apple, he will be taking on an education related role, but it is expected that he might have an influential role in further developments of the App Store.

    1. Yes I also see recently that Apple are possibly eyeballing EA 🙂

That’s awesome. I’m going to expect a gaming version of the iphone in a couple of years. 😉
Til then I’m keeping my Nokia.. there are just more apps and games which are downloadable there because the platform is more open. My favorite is qeep because it’s a messaging and network app with games all in one. I wish there were more apps like this on the iphone already.
      Cheers
